These crooks should be in prison charged with criminal neglience-and-malfeasance at minimum, and fraud, treason and war crimes. Instead they are "let-off-the-hook". You are right that ultimately had we had good people in place, 9/11 could have been prevented. Hell, Dubya was on vacation with Condi Rice doing god-only-knows-what: certainly not reading the PDBs warning that OSAMA BIN LADEN IS ABOUT TO RAM AIRPLANES INTO BUILDINGS... Whereas Clinton/Berger for all their faults thwarted over 15 terrorist attacks upon America. Americans are dumb. An Intelligence Czar is simply another potential toady like Tenet or Rice-- who will fuck-us-over to lick the butts of crooks like Bush and Cheney. |
