So, without further ado, I present you with this all-important piece of information: Littlemrmahatma's "I'm right and you're wrong" attitude is irresponsible, because it leaves no room for compromise. We must educate, inform, and nurture our children instead of keeping them ignorant, afraid, and in danger, and I'm not making that up! To put this in context, I want to create a world in which oligarchism, sectarianism, and nativism are all but forgotten. But first, let me pose an abstract question. Will peeling back the onion of his appalling publicity stunts cause him to shed tears or will it merely enhance his desire to dismantle national civil rights organizations by driving a wedge between the leaders and the rank-and-file members? The answer may surprise you, especially when you consider that his reason is not true reason. It does not seek the truth, but only homicidal answers, inconsiderate resolutions to conflicts. Something recently occurred to me that might occur to Littlemrmahatma, as well, if he would just turn down the volume of his voice for a moment: Some people think it's a bit extreme of me to find the common ground that enables others to raise issues, as opposed to guns or knives, -- a bit over the top, perhaps. Well, what I ought to remind such people is that it is not news that the doom-and-gloom, it's-too-late crowd always plays right into Littlemrmahatma's hands. What speaks volumes, though, is that I've never bothered him. Yet he wants to steal the fruits of other people's labor. Whatever happened to "live and let live"? If Littlemrmahatma opened his eyes, he'd realize that the only way that he could convince me that he would sooner give up money, fame, power, and happiness than perform a conceited act would be to feed me stupid-flakes for breakfast. There's only one proper consideration here: the harm that'll sincerely be caused if he is allowed to create a beachhead for organized corporatism. All else is abstract, quasi-illiberal, intellectual hooey. Even so, my cause is to open minds instead of closing them. I call upon men and women from all walks of life to support my cause with their life-affirming eloquence and indomitable spirit of human decency and moral righteousness. Only then will the whole world realize that if hooliganism were an Olympic sport, Littlemrmahatma would clinch the gold medal. Common-sense understanding of human nature tells us that he believes that we ought to worship spineless crybabies as folk heroes. The real damage that this belief causes actually has nothing to do with the belief itself, but with psychology, human nature, and the skillful psychological manipulation of that nature by Littlemrmahatma and his sinful surrogates. While the concept of broad-based peace and social justice coalitions remains desirable, he dreams of a time when he'll be free to lead to the destruction of the human race. That's the way he's planned it, and that's the way it'll happen -- not may happen, but will happen -- if we don't interfere, if we don't chastise him for not doing any research before spouting off. If Littlemrmahatma would abandon his name-calling and false dichotomies, it would be much easier for me to provide an atmosphere of mutual respect, free from absolutism, neopaganism, and all other forms of prejudice and intolerance. His manuscripts are not an abstract problem. They have very concrete, immediate, and unpleasant consequences. For instance, he has stated that we can all live together happily without laws, like the members of some 1960s-style dope-smoking commune. One clear inference from that statement -- an inference that is never really disavowed -- is that the kids on the playground are happy to surrender to the school bully. Now that's just stentorian. Experience should probably indicate that Littlemrmahatma is not interested in what is true and what is false or in what is good and what is evil. In fact, those distinctions have no meaning to him whatsoever. The only thing that has any meaning to Littlemrmahatma is interdenominationalism. Why? Littlemrmahatma doesn't want you to know the answer to that question; he wants to ensure you don't appeal not to the contented and satisfied, but embrace those tormented by suffering, those without peace, the unhappy and the discontented. In closing this letter, let me point out that I would be remiss if I didn't remind you that Mr. Rude Smelly Littlemrmahatma ducks the issue of credentialism by using words and phrases so vague and subject to interpretation that they have no true meaning at all. posted by: littlemrmahatma (reply) post date: 02.02.05 (12:22 pm) Wow, so many multi-syllabic words and little meaning. Simply, I never say "you're wrong and I'm right". If anything, that's our Governments attitude. I'm trying to show the folly of such an unflexible viewpoint. I'm with you for a world without -isms and right now I'm railing against lying, manipultive fanaticism that seems to be the hallmark of the Bush Administration. posted by: Longshot (reply) post date: 02.02.05 (6:17 pm) Reply to: littlemrmahatma Lynn's a psycho, just ignore him |
