To start, I have a scientist's respect for objective truth. That's why I'm telling you that in order to honor our nation's glorious mosaic of cultures and ethnicities, we must speak out against behavior and speech that is intended to preach fear and ignorance. And that's just the first step. Remember, I do not propose a supernatural solution to the problems we're having with Wolfowitz and Bono. Instead, I propose a practical, realistic, down-to-earth approach that requires only that I rouse people's indignation at Wolfowitz and Bono. I have seen what Wolfowitz and Bono is capable of, and I am afraid. I am very afraid and I am very angry. Wolfowitz and Bono divides the organization of its mendacious stances into two halves that, apparently separate from one another, in truth, form an inseparable whole. The first half seeks to separate people from their roots and cut their bonds to their natural communities, while the second half is yet another peremptory blend of self-aggrandizing cynicism and loud alcoholism. Technically, for the nonce, Wolfowitz and Bono is content to acquire power and use it to indoctrinate prolix hell-raisers. But before long, it will influence the attitudes of dominant culture towards any environment or activity that is predominantly cynical. It behooves us to remember that if Wolfowitz and Bono continues to clear-cut ancient forest lands, I will be obliged to do something about it. And you know me: I never neglect my obligations. Wolfowitz and Bono's understrappers all look like Wolfowitz and Bono, think like Wolfowitz and Bono, act like Wolfowitz and Bono, and dominate the whole earth and take possession of all its riches, just like Wolfowitz and Bono does. And all this in the name of -- let me see if I can get their propaganda straight -- brotherhood and service. Ha! As a matter of policy, uncouth, dim-witted sots should not waste hours and hours in fruitless conferences and meetings, but this has never stopped Wolfowitz and Bono. Wolfowitz and Bono's undertakings deserve to be criticized because they create massive civil unrest. The problem is, facts and their accuracy make a story, not the overdramatization of whatever Wolfowitz and Bono dreams up. To pretend otherwise is nothing but hypocrisy and unwillingness to face the more unpleasant realities of life. Wolfowitz and Bono can't see beyond its own mischievous concerns. How does Wolfowitz and Bono deal with this fascinating piece of information? It thoroughly ignores it. Let us now uplift individuals and communities on a global scale to place blame where it belongs -- in the hands of Wolfowitz and Bono and its virulent, muzzy-headed accomplices -- because in that is our only hope for the future. posted by: littlemrmahatma (reply) post date: 03.22.05 (8:18 am) Damn! I agree with you on this one. |
