In which the middle-aged Peacenik mouths off about War Drones--and all the other things that make him cranky. Pnorny!

Configuring LiveJournal is annoyingly complex compared to the other sites. After little internal debate I cancelled my account.

Blog-City doesn't have a login space on their main page. You go to your blog page - saves a bookmark. Figured out how to change the header but still can't find an easy way to install links. Ahhh, links are installed and grouped as Bookmarks. Actually, not a bad site at all. Limited description of self. Sigh. Cancelled here too.

BlogDrive - Have to enter separate titles. What a pain! But options to configure the site are quite nicely laid out. It's surviving for now as an Official Little Mr Mahatma mirror.

I checked out a few more free blog spaces. Crimson Blog looked nice but I didn't actually join. It appears to suffer from inactivitiy. As is obvious on the homepage it hasn't been updated in over a year and a-half. Another site, 22 Blog wouldn't create my account for whatever reason. The last site I checked out tBlog looks nice and as I found out is pretty easy to use and configure. I've added it as an Official Little Mr Mahatma Mirror.

In summary, I like and have Blogger as my main site. For mirrors, I'm going with eBloggy, BlogDrive, and tBlog. They all were fairly easy to customize and each offer distinct advantages. Heck, any of them would be decent as a main site but I'll stick with the 800-lb gorilla. Unfortunately the defunct zBlogger was a complete mirror of my main Blogger site. I may or may not make the new mirrors complete repositories of past posts.
